• camera angle: This shot is taken at a low angle this is to make the attacker with a knife seem much more powerful and his presence more dominant. Using a low ange also means you are unable to see the characters face and so there for he is more scary as it is the fear of the unknown.
• mise-en-scene: I have used a knife as a wepaon and it is clearly displayed in the scene a knife is a conventional murder weapon but it also makes it more personal to kill someone with a knife which makes it seem more frightening.
•  mise-en-scene: character blocking in this scene uses the rule of thirds to place the character and the knife in area which are easily seen. There is a table of tools in the backround which we only see after time and a map which connotes the attacker is some sort of stalker.
